There’s something unmistakable about a Juniper.
A Juniper chick is Parcell Farms’ signature take on the olive egger, selectively bred for one defining trait… bloom. Not just a light dusting, but a rich, heavy bloom that softens and transforms each shell into something truly unique.
At first glance, these eggs often appear grey, smoky, or even faintly purple. But beneath that natural finish lies a true green shell. It’s this layered effect that gives Junipers their depth, their mood, and their unmistakable presence in the nesting box.
No two are ever exactly alike. Some lean mossy and deep, others take on a more muted, silvery tone. This variation is part of what makes the Juniper line so special and so distinctly Parcell Farms.
Offspring from Juniper pairings will grow into birds capable of laying a wide range of olive and green tones. Physical traits of the chicks will vary as this is a hybrid breed.
As with all olive egger projects, results will vary based on the genetics each chick receives, but every hatch carries the potential for those signature, bloom-heavy eggs this line was built around.
